We take that extra step to make sure our clients are fully satisfied with our service and expect our staff to show the flexibility needed to achieve this.______________________________________________________________________________Purpose / General Description: We are seeking a Material Handler to Perform material handling and inventory control functions as needed to ensure all customers are provided on-time, accurate and coordinated product processing._______________________________________________________________________________What We Offer:Competitive compensation with bonus potentialMedical, Dental & Vision plans100% company paid medical premiums for you and your familyLife Insurance401k with company matchGenerous PTO & Paid holidaysMaternity & Paternity LeaveShort- and Long-term disabilityEmployee assistance programs& More__________________________________________________________________________Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Consistently practice safe work habits and abide by all safety policies and guidelinesConsistently execute and maintain the Kanban processKeep all inventory locations organized, identified and cleanMonitor and manage overflow inventory (consume all excess before ordering)Process purchase order requisitions for outside processing and finishingLoad and unload trucks and process documents (Bill of Ladings, receiving paperwork, etc.)Attend daily meetings and assist production areas maintaining line side inventoriesWhen processing received items, visually inspect parts for defects prior to processingMaintain housekeeping, safety, stock organization & user maintenance of all equipmentEnsure all scrap and other waste streams in the facility (trash, scrap metals, pallets, wood, etc.) are processed correctly and managed on a timely basisTrain lesser experienced employees in the area__________________________________________________________________________________Minimum Requirements:Knowledge of Company specific shipping software preferred or ability to learn company specific softwareExperience with ERP/MRP operating systemsForklift operator (All types of material handling equipment in the facility)Demonstrated ability to work in a team and actively contribute to the success of the teamGood communication and organization skills supported by a positive attitudeAble to lift 30 poundsHigh School Diploma (Associates Degree / Certificate is a plus)3 years' experience in material handling and inventory control. (Barcode experience is a plus)Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel, Word, Email.Forklift Operator Certification or experience
