Full Stack Software Engineer (Node.js, Angular, AWS)

Title: Full Stack Software Engineer (Node.js, Angular, AWS) Location : DC Metro Area Target Start Date : ASAP Type: contract Pay Rate: DOE We're seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to build and enhance enterprise-scale web applications supporting mission-critical regulatory platforms. You'll develop modern web applications, cloud-native services, and scalable APIs while working across the full software development lifecycle in an Agile environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular (16 ). Build RESTful APIs and event-driven services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions. Develop and optimize applications using Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and DocumentDB. Build cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services including ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Develop automated end-to-end testing using Playwright. Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, architecture discussions, and production support. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. 4–5 years of full-stack software development experience. Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architectures. Experience developing REST APIs, event-driven applications, and microservices. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Experience with Playwright or similar automated testing frameworks. Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, and Agile development practices. Preferred Experience with containerized applications (ECS or Kubernetes). Background in highly regulated or enterprise environments. Passion for building scalable, secure, and high-quality software.
