Janitor

Responsibilities: - Perform general janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility - Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors - Empty trash cans and replace liners - Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies - Dust and wipe down surfaces - Clean glass surfaces - Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor Requirements: - Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks - Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Skills: - Commercial cleaning: Experience in cleaning commercial buildings or offices - Industrial cleaning: Knowledge of cleaning methods for industrial environments - Porter: Familiarity with porter duties such as maintaining cleanliness in public areas - Maintain: Ability to keep facilities clean and organized on an ongoing basis - Custodial: Knowledge of custodial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies - Floor care: Proficiency in floor cleaning techniques such as mopping and sweeping - Clean: Thoroughness in ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
