Obesity Medicine Physician - Dedicated Coordinator W2 Telemedicine Marshfield, Wisconsin Form Health is a virtual obesity medicine clinic delivering multi‐disciplinary evidence‐based obesity treatment through telemedicine. All patients work closely with a physician‐led care team that includes advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians. Using a proprietary mobile app, patients engage in video visits, text messaging, photo journaling, digital data transmission, and customized educational materials. About the Role This role is for an ABOM‐certified obesity medicine physician who will provide direct clinical services and structured supervision for up to three advanced practice providers (APPs). The physician will co‐manage a shared panel with APP colleagues and will not have their own primary patient panel. Core Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a clinical setting, focusing on evidence‐based obesity treatment and chronic weight management. Review charts and conduct return visits for APP patients on every third visit to ensure quality and continuity of care. Provide treatment planning and medical management support for complex cases or escalated concerns. Prescribe non‐controlled obesity medications for patients under direct care and in coordination with APPs. Conduct weekly 30‐minute collaborative meetings and 30‐minute asynchronous communication time with each assigned APP to review cases, address clinical challenges, and provide ongoing mentorship. Ensure clinical documentation, protocols, and treatment pathways are followed consistently within the team. Assist in the professional development of APPs by fostering clinical growth, offering feedback, and supporting continuing education. Participate in team‐based care initiatives and contribute to a culture of collaboration and high‐quality care. Attend relevant departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement efforts within the obesity medicine program. We Seek Applicants Who Hold an MD or DO degree and are board certified and diplomates of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM). Have a minimum of 5 years as an attending physician in their primary specialty. Are licensed to practice and prescribe legally in Wisconsin (strong preference for multiple state licenses). Possess a Letter of Qualification from the Interstate Medical Licensing Compact. Have excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions. Have a strong interest in mentoring, teaching, and collaborating with APPs. Demonstrated experience working with APPs, medical residents, or trainees in a clinical academic setting. Apply evidence‐based obesity treatments, behavioral interventions, nutrition, and pharmacotherapy. Commit to delivering patient‐centered, culturally competent care. Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team that includes dietitians, behavioral health providers, and nursing staff.
