This individual will work on Windows client and server projects related to electronic trading order execution systems, within a small, collaborative team with close interaction between developers and business users.ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with developers and business users to gather requirements and scope projectsAnalyzing existing systems for robustness and performance improvementsPresenting ideas for system improvements, both technical and business-relatedProducing product specifications and training peers and users on system use and maintenanceUnit, integration, and functional testingMaintaining and supporting systems once released to UAT and productionRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field5-10 years of relevant experienceC#, OOP, Concurrency, Real-time Systems, Automated Unit Testing, SOAExperience with all phases of the software development life cycleFIX Protocol and electronic trading experienceStrong communication skillsFamiliarity with the Appia FIX Engine (preferred)Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools (preferred)Python, SQL (preferred)Location: Connecticut | On-site, Monday through FridayCompensation: $150,000 to $240,000 base salaryJobID: 48240
