Customer Order Processing Associate

LHH is seeking a Customer Order Processing Associate for a direct hire position in Gastonia, NC! This role supports customers and internal teams by managing the end-to-end order process. The position focuses on accurate order entry, responding to inquiries, coordinating with supply chain and warehouse partners, and ensuring orders are billed and fulfilled correctly. This position is fully onsite Monday - Friday.Responsibilities: Process a high volume of customer orders with accuracy and timelinessServe as a primary point of contact for customer questions related to orders, pricing, and deliveryPartner with internal teams to validate pricing, resolve discrepancies, and confirm inventory availabilityCoordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams when items are backordered or shipment issues ariseMaintain and update customer and order data within internal systemsDocument and route customer concerns to the appropriate teams, tracking resolution progressPrepare invoices, finalize orders, and ensure required documentation is delivered to customersAssist with onboarding or mentoring new team members as neededQualifications: 2+ years of experience in a business to business customer support or order management roleHands-on experience with order entry or transactional processingBachelor’s degree in business, communications, supply chain, or a related discipline(or equivalent professional experience)Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesClear written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with ERP or customer management systemsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
