School-Based Physical Therapist - Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Provide essential physical therapy services to students from kindergarten through 8th grade within a school setting, supporting their developmental and functional needs. This part-time contract role is based in Boston, MA, with onsite responsibilities involving travel to various school locations in Lawrence, MA.Key Responsibilities:Deliver direct physical therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs.Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress.Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.Adhere to all state licensure requirements and school policies.Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).Qualifications and Experience:Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Massachusetts.Experience providing physical therapy services in school environments.Ability to travel within the Lawrence, MA, area to multiple campuses.Successful completion of fingerprinting and CORI background checks.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families.Position Details:Contract position starting August 11, 2025, through June 17, 2026.Part-time schedule averaging 10 hours per week, with flexible days between 8 AM and 3 PM to align with school hours.Mileage reimbursement provided for travel to assigned campuses.Onsite work required; remote work is not available.This opportunity is ideal for physical therapists who enjoy working in educational settings and are committed to improving student mobility and participation.
