What you'll do at DBH: Maintain the safety and security of Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare Patrol grounds and building Assist with and conduct investigations Respond to emergencies and code assists Escort, protect, and assist visitors Conduct searches Apprehending, arresting, and processing criminal violators File affidavits, serve warrants, and subpoenas Appear in court and testify in criminal proceedings Perform police administrative duties Why Work for the State of OhioAt the State of Ohio, we take care of the team that cares for Ohioans. QualificationsPossession of certificate having successfully completed approved basic peace officer training program or completion of 20 yrs. active duty as peace officer per Section 109.78(D) of Ohio revised code; valid driver's license. Probationary period is one year.
