Mainframe Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesExecute the end-to-end migration of legacy TCI system functions to IBM Sterling B2Bi.Develop, maintain, and optimize RPG (RPG III/IV/ILE/Free format) programs on AS/400 (IBM) mainframes.Collaborate with the Costco FTE and UST Global teams to replicate and enhance legacy supply chain logic.Manage complex data structures and queries using DB2 to ensure data integrity during the system transition.Troubleshoot and resolve technical gaps in warehouse, accounting, and call center processes.Required Technical SkillsLegacy Expertise: Deep proficiency in RPG, SQLRPGLE, and CL/CLP on AS/400 (IBM) systems.Integration Knowledge: Proven experience with TCI to B2Bi migration or similar EDI/B2B integration projects.Database Management: Strong command of DB2, including physical/logical files and stored procedures.Domain Expertise: Professional background in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, and accounting workflows.QualificationsExperience working in a high-volume retail or logistics environment.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with onshore FTE leads.Ability to work independently in an offshore capacity to meet aggressive project timelines.
