This is a PRN position.As an Endo Technologist in this role, you will work as part of the surgical services teams in the Endoscopy unit. The individual will assist the team during procedures, ensure a sterile environment, hand instruments to surgeons during procedures, and maintain patient safety. Throughout the day, precision, attention to detail, and teamwork are paramount in providing quality patient care.As a Endoscopy Technologist for the Endoscopy unit, your responsibilities and qualifications will include:Assembling, organizing and maintaining a sterile field for operative proceduresAnticipates the needs of the surgeon and progression of the case and prepare accordinglyProper disposition of specimens and instrumentsWorks with entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safetyCall is required for this position.Experience Requirements:Less than 1 year Surgical Technologist ExperienceLess than 1 year Endoscopy Technologist Experience RequiredEducation & Credential Requirements:Basic Life Support (BLS) RequiredHigh School Diploma RequiredThis Endoscopy Technologist, Endoscopy position will be located at Baptist Medical Center Clay.
