Employee and Community Health Education RN
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, day shift, days/hours may vary (Full-time)
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with current state Illinois license.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
At least 5 years of healthcare experience required.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Knowledge of Employee Health for a hospital or healthcare organization.
Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare setting preferred.
Highly motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to changing situations and workflows.
Responsibilities:
Works closely with Human Resources and Infection Control for Employee Health.
Maintains employee health records and administers immunizations.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of healthcare employee education requirements and maintains annual employee education platform, Relias.
Works with ACLS, PALS, and BLS instructor(s) to coordinate class offerings to employees and the community.
Collaborates with the healthcare team at Mason District Hospital and community organizations to determine employee and community health and education needs.
Develops and maintains a nursing education program and competencies hospital-wide.
Reports to the Director of Quality, Infection Prevention, and Employee Health.
