Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Winnebago, NE Agency: Hired by Matrix Inc. Pay: $2,000 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician City: Winnebago State: NE Job Type: Travel Discipline: Allied Speciality: Medical Laboratory Technician Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care (STAC) Accepting Locals per Radius Rule?: Yes Contract Length: 13 weeks Shifts: EVE Shift Details: 8 Hours Weekly Schedule: 40 Hours Certifications/ Licences: CLS or MT (ASCP) or equivalent New MT Graduate must pass certification exam. Bachelor’s degree (or Associates Degree for grandfathered personnel) Mandatory Experience: Position is a 7 on 7 off position working Wednesday-Tuesday on your week to work. Shift is 7 AM to 730 PM. Will be Every Other Weekend during the week you work. Holidays will be worked if it is your scheduled shift week. Overtime is earned at >80 hours a pay period. Ability to work independently is required. Certification is also required. Medical Laboratory Technician – Must have graduated from an approved school of Medical Technology/Laboratory Science with an Associate’s degree and be certified/registered by one of the following agencies: MLT(ASCP), MLT(AMT), CLT(NCA). Medical Technologist – Must have graduated from an approved school of Medical Technology/Laboratory Science with a bachelor’s degree and be certified/registered by one of the following agencies: MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), CLS(NCA). Minimum of one year of experience preferred. Knowledge of hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements, chemical and biological hazards.
