Fund Controller — Private EquityOur client is an independent global investment management firm.The firm manages tens of billions of dollars in assets internationally!We're looking for a Fund Controller to join the fund accounting team. In this role, you'll work alongside other fund controllers to support fund accounting, treasury, and operations, partnering closely with investment, tax, investor relations, and legal teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, likes building relationships across a firm, and wants to grow with a collaborative, hands-on team.What you'll doReview fund NAV packages, quarterly financial statements, and supporting schedules prepared by the fund administratorReview partner capital statements and support annual fund audits alongside external auditorsSupport quarterly tax estimates and filings with the firm's tax team and outside advisorsHelp prepare fund financial data and reporting for management and investors, including quarterly investor lettersSupport investor relations with reporting requests, due diligence questionnaires, and fundraising materialsHelp manage fund liquidity, including capital calls, distributions, and day-to-day funding needsReview management fee and carried interest calculations with the fund administratorReview fund wires and help ensure compliance with regulatory and lender requirementsContribute ideas for improving processes and tools across the fund finance functionMentor and support junior team membersWhat we're looking for8+ years of experience in private equity fund accountingA mix of public accounting (Big 4 or similar), in-house fund accounting, or fund administrator experience is a plusBachelor's degree and a relevant accounting credential (e.g., CPA)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detailComfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environmentClear, confident communicatorStrong Excel skills; familiarity with fund accounting or treasury systems is a plus
