Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of events from inception to completion, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for clients and guests. Collaborate with clients to determine their event vision, needs, and budgets, offering creative solutions to meet their requirements. Coordinate with chefs, kitchen staff, and vendors to develop customized menus and ensure high-quality food presentation and service. Supervise and lead a team of event staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service. Oversee logistical arrangements, including venue setup, decoration, audio-visual equipment, and entertainment, to create a cohesive event atmosphere. Manage budgets and financial plans for events, negotiating with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and maintain profitability. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to drive repeat business and foster a network of industry contacts. Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and gather feedback for future planning. Qualifications: Proven experience in event management and/or catering operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivation and performance development. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Superior communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and vendors. Creative flair with an eye for detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch service. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
