Project Manager - Commercial Solar & Battery Storage (PV + BESS)

We are hiring a Project Manager to support the delivery of commercial solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and wants to grow within a company actively building infrastructure for the clean energy transition.You will take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring strong execution, financial control, and clear communication across all stakeholders.What You'll OwnManage the full lifecycle of commercial solar and battery storage projects (permitting through closeout)Oversee project execution including contracts, scheduling, procurement, and construction coordinationManage project financials (billing, cost tracking, forecasting, and budget reviews)Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and procurement/buyout activitiesLead or support construction meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholdersManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationSupport preconstruction efforts including RFP/RFQ responses and estimating coordinationMaintain accurate and organized project records across internal systemsRequirements2+ years of project management experience in commercial constructionExperience in solar, battery storage, MEP, or technical infrastructure projects preferredStrong understanding of the full project lifecycle (permitting, inspections, scheduling, procurement, billing, closeout)Experience managing project budgets and cost trackingWorking knowledge of MEP systems and building permit processesProficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and SmartsheetExperience with Jonas Premier is a plusStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsMust be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)Must be local to the Monterey Bay Area and able to work onsiteBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) retirement planPTO package with eligibility for unlimited PTO after year one42 hours of paid continuing education annually$1,000 annual professional development stipendCell phone and laptop reimbursementEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)
