We are seeking a hands-on floor leader to coordinate and oversee daily order preparation activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading Order Prep associates, ensuring orders are picked, staged, and prepared accurately and on time, and driving performance across safety, quality, and throughput.Location: Haw River, NCSchedule: OnsitePay & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay + bonus eligibility + full benefits packageWhat You’ll DoLead daily order preparation activities, including picking, staging, palletizing, labeling, and load readiness. Assign and prioritize work to Order Prep associates based on shipping schedules, carrier pickups, and production output. Review orders, pick tickets, and system queues to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to shipment. Perform quality checks to verify correct SKU, quantity, packaging, and labeling before orders move to shipping. Serve as the first escalation point for order discrepancies, shortages, damages, or system issues; resolve or elevate as needed. Coordinate with Shipping, Production, Inventory Control, and Order Fulfillment leadership to support on-time shipments. Train and coach associates on standard work, best practices, safety requirements, and proper material handling. Monitor performance against daily volume, accuracy, and cut-off targets; address bottlenecks and labor gaps in real time. Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping (5S), security protocols, SOPs, work instructions, and ISO requirements. Complete required documentation, reports, and system transactions related to order prep activities. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and recommending corrective actions. What You’ll BringHigh School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution operations. Previous lead, team lead, or informal leadership experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with a focus on order accuracy and quality standards. Experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team. Knowledge of safety standards, 5S, and continuous improvement practices preferred.
