A company is looking for an Associate Attorney specializing in Law & Motion and Appellate Advocacy. Key Responsibilities Draft and argue dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss Manage appellate matters from start to finish, including research, briefing, and oral argument Conduct legal research and analysis to develop defense strategies and collaborate with trial teams Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Florida, with eligibility for federal courts preferred 3-7+ years of experience in insurance defense, law and motion, or appellate practice Proven success in drafting and arguing dispositive motions and managing appellate cases Strong legal research skills and proficiency with platforms like Westlaw or LexisNexis
