Robotics Software Engineer - Contract Opportunity (Boston, MA)We are currently supporting enterprise client in the expansion of its advanced robotics engineering organization and are seeking experienced contract professionals with expertise in robotics software, perception, and autonomous systems development.Qualifications:• 7+ years of robotics software development experience• Strong hands-on experience with ROS 2• Proficiency in Python with working knowledge of C++• Experience with systems integration across sensors, controllers, and hardware interfaces• Experience deploying software on NVIDIA embedded compute platforms• Background in real-world robotic system deploymentSLAM / Spatial Perception EngineerQualifications:• Hands-on experience with SLAM, localization, and mapping systems• Strong background in 3D point cloud processing• Experience with ROS 2, TF, and sensor calibration• Proficiency with OpenCV and point cloud libraries such as PCL or Open3D• Experience with visual and/or LiDAR-based perception systems• Experience deploying perception solutions on physical robotic platformsPreferred Background:• Autonomous systems• Robotics and industrial automation• Real-time systems• Edge compute platforms• Perception and localization systems
