Overview We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Internal Medicine , also referred to as a a Internal Medicine Certified Medical Assistant – Internal Medicine R egistered Medical Assistant (RMA) . The Internal Medicine CMA works in our clinics or physician offices that focus on adult care, chronic disease management, and preventive health. Essential Duties And Responsibilities (includes, But Not Limited To): Room patients, take vital signs, review medications, allergies, and medical history Assist with exams and procedures such as injections, wound care, and specimen collection Perform basic lab tests (urinalysis, rapid tests) and prepare samples for the lab, administer medications and vaccines under provider direction Handle patient communication, portal messages, refills, and follow-up instructions and maintain exam rooms/equipment, keep supplies stocked and ready Support care management by tracking preventive screenings, follow-ups, and care gaps Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
