Gaithersburg, MDContract Duration: 12-36 monthsRate: NegotiableSalary: NA, $1.00Responsibilities:Excellent employment opportunity for a Production Technician in the Gaithersburg, MD area.Preparation and filtration of production scale buffer and media solutions.Operate area specific production equipment such as glass washers, autoclaves, fixed and portable stainless steel tanks, etc.Operate production equipment such as bioreactors, centrifuges, filtration devices, chromatography equipment, washers, autoclaves, tanks.Weigh and checks raw materials, assembles and cleans process equipment, monitors processesPerform SIP, CIP and manual cleaning and sanitization of equipmentDemonstrates aseptic technique Completes production recordsMaintain clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirementsEnsure a safe work environment in accordance with company standardsBasic understanding of cGMP documentation standards for SOP's MPR and SPR'sAdhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and standard operating procedures.Regularly works on routine manufacturing assignmentsLearning and executing basic troubleshooting techniques on equipment and processWork under direct supervisionReceive instructions, as needed, on routine work and more detailed instructions on new assignmentsInteract regularly with co-workers, senior personnel and supervisor in dynamic and team environment.Experience:BS degree in Sciences preferredPrior GMP experience a plusPrior Clean-room experience a plusThis is a 2nd shift position (2pm-11pm) in Support Services group
