In this role, you will work across the entire technology stack—from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and databases—helping deliver reliable, high-performance software.You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, architect solutions, and implement features that improve efficiency and user experience. In addition, you will contribute to system design, deployment processes, and long-term technical strategy.Additionally, you will work alongside internal stakeholders to develop a variety of customized ERP tools to help automate and improve a variety of processes critical to the business. You will take inputs from team members to create these tools, architect a plan, and in some cases manage outside contractors to implement solutions.The ideal candidate will be a dependable, adaptable, self-starter with attention to detail who is eager to learn new things and enjoys variety in their day-to-day work life.Key ResponsibilitiesExercise a high degree of responsibility for the processes, systems, and tools you create and manageDesign, develop, test, and maintain full stack web applicationsBuild responsive, user-friendly front-end interfacesDevelop scalable back-end APIs, services, and data modelsTroubleshoot and resolve application, system, and integration issuesWrite clean, maintainable code and enforce best practicesCreate and maintain technical documentationContribute to continuous improvement of development processes and system architectureStay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvementsMaintain, procure, upgrade, and optimize IT systems, infrastructure, and servicesManage deployment of applications and services between testing, staging, and production environmentsAssist onsite and remote staff in solving computer issues and network problemsMaintain IT compliance for industry and government contractsSetup systems for new employees and assist with onboardingCollaborate with internal stakeholders and manage external contractors to help architect and develop custom ERP tools, modules, and applications Manage change requests from users for ERP customizations and plan development of new features Create documentation and instructions as required to perform upgrades and new software rollouts Support company website modifications and maintenanceBe technically excellent, accountable for your work, and responsible for deadlinesConstantly strive to improve your own technical skills, company processes, and be willing to both teach and learn from your peers.Other duties as assignedQualifications & ExperienceB.S. in computer information systems, computer science, related degree field or 5+ years industry experience as an IT systems administrator or similar position10+ years in full-stack software developmentProficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue)Strong experience with back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar)Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architectureSolid understanding of relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Familiarity with application deployment and CI/CD pipelinesAdvanced knowledge and the ability to setup, configure, upgrade, manage, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux based systemsMS Office 365 Suite Administrator (Exchange/Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams)Programming experience using PythonNetworking experience in IPv4, switching, routing, and firewallsExcellent communications skills with the ability to communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, management etc. in both formal and informal situationsMotivation to learn whatever knowledge you are missing to get the job done rightAbility to work well on a team, to be deliverable focused, and to take full responsibility for individual tasks which may be open endedOdoo module development, customization, and troubleshooting, preferred but not requiredExperience with ERP systems or business process automation tools, preferred but not requiredKnowledge of authentication mechanisms and security best practices, preferred but not requiredExperience with testing frameworks and automated testing, preferred but not requiredExposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code, preferred but not requiredUI/UX design awareness and front-end performance optimization, preferred but not requiredExperience integrating third-party APIs and services, preferred but not requiredSQL and relational database design and management, preferred but not requiredJavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, preferred but not requiredMust provide proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency to comply with ITAR requirementsAbility to pass a drug screen per Vitesse’s drug testing policyAbility to pass a criminal background check per Vitesse’s policyVitesse Systems, LLC Performs Work Controlled By The International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR) And Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
