We offer a wide variety of regularly scheduled classes that grownups attend with their children, including art, music, sensory, ballet, baby massage, culinary exploration, storytime, and more – as well as social events and pop-up workshops for grownups. That consistency starts with the people on our floor.TBH TeacherJob Summary:The Bunny Hive is looking for charismatic and personable teachers to join our team. As a part-time teacher, the team member will be leading children age newborn to 5 years, and their caregivers, in a variety of classes including exploratory play, art, creative movement, story time, culinary exploration, and music while building relationships with our clients and providing top-level client service. They do not need previous experience leading these subjects, as we will provide training; we just ask that they have a willingness to learn, a love for children, and the confidence to be outgoing, sociable, and fun.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Deliver 30-minute classes from The Bunny Hive curriculum in the themes of art, music, exploratory play, creative movement, and other age- and developmentally-appropriate programming.Engage with families in a friendly, personable, and professional manner.Collaborate on curriculum refinement, special seasonal classes and events, retail management, and overall brand experience.Provide excellent client service to families by developing relationships with clients, checking families in and out for classes, furthering clients' bond with TBH, and answering questions with speed and professionalism.Maintain the studio so it always feels the way it should when families walk in, including cleaning, restocking, and setup.What We Are Looking For:Guaranteed morning availability, Monday through FridayMinimum two weekends of availability per monthWarmth that is genuine, not performedReliability our members and our team can count on without questionA natural ability to connect with caregivers, not just childrenAn entrepreneurial spirit and genuine investment in the success of the studioSomeone who takes pride in showing up and doing the job well every single time This Might Be a Great Fit If You Are...A teacher currently on summer break, or a former educator looking for something more flexible and community-focused, orA theatre performer or someone with a performance background who is comfortable commanding a room, memorizing material, and reading an audience, orA college student studying theatre, early childhood education, or a related field, whether just starting out or well on your way, who wants meaningful morning work that aligns with where you are headed, orA nanny or former nanny looking to transition out of private household work into a community setting where your relationship-building instincts shine, orA fitness or yoga instructor who already thrives in a studio environment and loves working with young families, orrSomeone with a background in hospitality or retail who brings genuine warmth and professionalism to every interactionIf any of these sound like you, we would love to hear from you!The Ideal Candidate Will Have… A degree (or working toward a degree) in education or similar, and/or experience teaching preschool age children and younger.A kind, warm demeanor, and a highly dependable work ethic.An entrepreneurial spirit and passion for helping the business grow and succeed.The ability to work independently and go above and beyond the basic job requirements.A willingness to learn new curricula frequently and the desire to help continuously improve The Bunny Hive classes and experience.Schedule: Part-time, weekdays and some weekends.
