Public Area Attendant – Unicoi State Park & LodgeBecome part of the team that keeps one of Georgia’s most beloved state parks beautiful, welcoming, and guest-ready every day.About The RoleAs a Public Area Attendant, you’ll help create the first impression guests experience when they step into Unicoi State Park & Lodge. Working under the guidance of the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll ensure that our lodge, lobby, conference center, and public spaces stay clean, safe, and inviting.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in creating spotless spaces, and thrives in a team-focused environment.What You’ll DoPrepare your housekeeping cart with all necessary supplies before starting your shiftKeep the lobby, conference center, and resort entrances clean, tidy, and guest-readyClean windows, glass doors, floors, carpets, and furnitureEmpty trash, dust surfaces (high and low), and maintain restrooms and locker roomsRestock supplies and assist with room cleaning when neededReport maintenance issues promptlyFollow Lost & Found procedures and ensure all areas are free of debris—including under furnitureWhat Makes You a Great FitWe’re looking for someone who:Solves problems quickly and works efficientlyDelivers friendly, attentive customer serviceCommunicates clearly and works well with othersShows professionalism, integrity, and respect for all guests and team membersStays adaptable in a fast-paced environmentIs dependable, punctual, and eager to helpFollows safety procedures and takes pride in quality workQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredSix months of related experience is helpful, but we’ll train the right personBasic reading, writing, and math skillsAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyComfortable using Microsoft Office and basic point-of-sale systemsPhysical RequirementsThis role is active and hands-on.
