The successful candidate will be involved in a range of activities, including client and market development, business development support, transaction execution, portfolio and post-close management, and internal risk and compliance responsibilities. Key responsibilities for this role include assisting in the research of prospective and existing clients, preparing client materials, contributing to transaction reviews, supporting business development initiatives, and executing various project finance structures. The role also involves conducting due diligence, managing financial models, and ensuring compliance with internal standards.Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree or formal coursework in project finance or law preferred. A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, renewable energy finance, or a related specialty within a financial institution is required, along with formal credit training. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, be familiar with due diligence processes, and be comfortable working with financial models. Responsibilities also include managing internal systems, conducting portfolio reviews, and supporting internal risk and compliance workstreams.
