Helpline Analyst – macOS Support (Consumer Electronics Industry)Location: Elk Grove, CAPay Rate: $20/hourType: Contract | Onsite (5 days/week)Role OverviewEntry-level Helpline Analyst providing first-line macOS and iOS support in a high-volume consumer electronics environment. This role focuses heavily on troubleshooting Mac-related issues, supporting end users, and resolving or escalating technical problems quickly and accurately.Schedule & AttendanceOnsite, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)Shift start times between 5:00 AM – 10:00 AMStandard 8-hour shifts (may vary based on business needs)Occasional weekend support depending on demandStrong attendance and schedule flexibility are required and heavily prioritizedResponsibilitiesProvide first-line macOS and iOS technical support via phone, email, and chatTroubleshoot Mac hardware, software, login, network, and application issuesLog, update, and manage tickets in ServiceNow or similar systemsFollow structured Mac troubleshooting workflows and escalation pathsDocument issues and resolutions clearly and accuratelySupport end users in a fast-paced, Mac-focused environmentCommunicate professionally with users and internal teamsRequired Qualifications0–2 years of IT support, helpdesk, or customer service experienceBasic hands-on experience troubleshooting macOS systemsFamiliarity with iOS devicesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work onsite full-time (5 days/week)Comfortable working in a fast-paced technical support environmentPreferred QualificationsExposure to Apple ecosystem devices (MacBook, iPhone, iPad)Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing toolsIT training, bootcamp, or CompTIA A+ certificationBasic understanding of ITIL concepts (Incident, Problem, Change)Ideal CandidateReliable, entry-level candidate with strong macOS familiarity, good communication skills, and willingness to work early or variable shifts in a structured, high-volume support environment.
