Looking for experienced licensed Auto Glass Installers and trainees! If you don't want to be a number at a big corporation we may be a good fit. Payless Auto glass has been in the Hartford area since 1987. We have a relaxed atmosphere and many of our staff have been with us over 10 years. Licensed Installers with a CT AG-2 License - will learn our routine and hit the road and or shop! Trainees: We will sign you up with the Department of Labor as a journeyman and prepare you for the test. The process takes one year before you can test to become Licensed AG-2 Technician. If you are ready for a career give us a call What You’ll Do Learn to repair vehicle glass with a focus on, and according to the Department of Consumer approved curriculum and the guidance of experienced technicians Repair chips, cracks and other auto glass related issues on customer vehicles. Manage work orders, customer documentation and customer communication through our MobilePro app Clean customer vehicle during wait/idle time during the repair process as well as perform additional housekeeping tasks in company vehicle and shop. Safely and professionally operate a company fleet vehicle to and from customer locations. All other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need. Valid state-issued driver’s license required. with good driving record some automobile related experience On-the-job training/completion to become an AG-2 Glazier The ability to operate your van, following all safety, cleanliness policies, traffic laws, and maintain a safe driving record. Flexibility with hours and days trained/worked, as workloads fluctuate. Comfort working outside in a variety of weather conditions. Present a professional appearance and wear personal protective equipment. Physical requirements: lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. for short periods, working at elevated heights, remaining on your feet for extended periods.
