Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2412.00 Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: - Work variable day/night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in second week - Float to ER and ICU to assist when needed - Every other weekend and holiday rotation required - Can be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum call back - Patient ratios: Day shift 1:4-1:5, Night shift 1:6 average - Work on 25-bed medical surgical unit - Care for geriatric patients with conditions including CHF, COPD, and diabetes - Required licenses and certifications: Current Michigan RN license, AHA BLS, and ACLS - Minimum 2 years medical surgical experience required - ICU and ER experience required - Epic charting experience required - Any colored scrubs permitted - Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred - Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours - Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and vaccination Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing essential healthcare services to the community.
