The Life Enrichment Director is responsible for creation and implementation of programming and activities, and providing rewarding opportunities for residents that promote a level of health, wellbeing, engagement and growth. Our Life Enrichment Director: Plans, schedules, and conducts lifestyle programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities for the residents. Manages and attends all community planned functions and coordinates event from beginning to end including setup, facilitation and breakdown for the event. Creates appropriate programs for holidays and special events. Implements the calendar of events as scheduled by the Director/Coordinator. Distributes community newsletter. Provides ongoing communication with residents and, as necessary, family members. Drives and leads wellness program initiatives. Interacts with residents, guests and staff in an atmosphere of hospitality. Protects the privacy of the resident when communication oral and written information. Promotes the Mission, Vision, and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility; Performs other duties as assigned or may be necessary in an organization having overlapping roles and responsibilities. On occasion, may work overtime/off-cycle hours as needed supporting various events. What you need to succeed: Bachelor's degree preferred, with five to seven years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 or more years of leadership experience, preferably in a Senior Living/Assisted Living setting. Preferred experience in Dementia Care atmosphere Proficiency in the MS Office suite of products Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and external constituents. Experience creating bulletins, event calendars, and presentations. Project management experience preferred.
