Electronic Security Field Engineer

Working in concert with our ESS Supervisor and ESS Lead Technician, the ESS Field Engineer is an on-site technical person. The technician role is ideal for a candidate with 3-5+ years of experience in the commercial installation/service space. Project tasks include but are not limited to system configuration, equipment programming, system commissioning, equipment troubleshooting.Qualifications & Skills:Experience pulling and terminating low voltage cabling in commercial environmentsExperience installing security, alarm, or access control devicesFamiliar with equipment from Lenel, S2, Genetec, Axis, Hanwha, Brivo, Bosch, KantechSystem commissioning experienceProgramming capabilitiesBasic understanding of IP Networking is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills.Self-motivated and a self-starter.Ability to lift 75lbs.General mechanical skills.General Construction Knowledge Should Include:Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.Ability to work on a ladder.Ability to read and understand schematic/line diagrams, riser diagrams, reflected ceiling plans, and floor plans.
