The company is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany and has about 87.000 employees in more than 100 locations worldwide.Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in New Braunfels, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing automation technologies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency in our production facilities.The expected annual salary range for this role is $75,000 - $98,000 a year depending on experience. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure optimal production efficiency and product qualityDesign and oversee the implementation of automation systems and equipment to improve manufacturing operationsConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production issues and defectsCreate and maintain process documentation, including setup matrices, parameter cards, and work instructionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and design for manufacturability (DFM) initiativesLead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase productivityProvide technical support and training to production staff on new processes, equipment, and technologiesAnalyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutionsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all manufacturing processesParticipate in equipment selection, installation, and qualification processesTroubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing equipment and process issuesQualificationsWHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLEBachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial EngineeringExposure to a high volume manufacturing environmentKnowledge of automation equipment, including scanners, vision systems, or automated placement equipmentProficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorksExcellent problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis techniquesStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and manufacturing-related software applicationsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projectsStrong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detailWillingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environmentLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
