If you are vision and mission focused on securing our future, we can’t wait to meet you. About the Role: Our client is an intelligence-driven and threat-focused security organization with both intelligence and law enforcement responsibilities. The program provides the investigative and intelligence communities with advanced data discovery, analytics, exploitation, and visualization capabilities through application development and tool integration. Focused on enterprise application development, advanced visualization, enterprise data management, and analytical platforms to support advanced analysis, data visualization, enterprise search, knowledge management, collaboration, and project management services that enhance the capabilities of investigative teams. Current operations consist of over 20 products and services providing the FBI enterprise with operational data discovery, exploitation, analytics, and visualization tools. The enterprise consists of a mix of both cloud and on-prem apps across the unclassified and classified enclaves. The foundational cloud-based data architecture that will drive future capabilities is known as the Enterprise Data Pipeline (EDP). The EDP is multi- enclave suite of tools that enables the process of acquiring, storing, access controlling, discovering, enriching, analyzing, and visualizing operational data. To support the vision, we have aligned our products/services into two Agile Release Trains (ARTs). The first ART is focused around enabling operational insight by increasing data discoverability through enterprise search or query. The second ART is focused around enhancing the operational analysis and triage of data through visualization, enrichments, and analytics. FBI Data collections are growing at an immense rate each year, beyond what our users can reasonably review/exploit. This is where we will continue to look for ways to apply AI/ML techniques on data within the EDP to identify / understand patterns, provide high level summarization of information from complex data, and extract information from unstructured text. As moves forward, there will also be large data and application migration efforts to move the remaining on-premises hardware to cloud based environments, integrated with the EDP. In this role, The team is responsible for maintaining an enterprise data search, analysis and visualization tool that accelerates the investigative process by providing agents and analysts access to a diverse range of datasets collected.
