This role involves designing, developing, and deploying custom cyber network operations capabilities specifically for the Android platform. The successful candidate will leverage deep technical expertise in exploitation, vulnerability research, and low-level system development to support real-world operational missions. The ideal applicant thrives in high-tempo environments, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and collaborates closely with mission operators to deliver innovative solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of offensive cyber capabilities, contributing to national security efforts while advancing your professional expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess advanced development skills in C, C++, and Python, with extensive experience in Android NDK environments. A strong understanding of exploit development, memory corruption techniques, and kernel-level debugging is essential. Candidates should have proficiency with UNIX/Linux internals, system-level engineering, and network socket programming. Familiarity with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, gdb, LLDB, and Frida is required. Additionally, knowledge of security protections like ASLR, DEP/NX, sandboxing, and bypass techniques is necessary. Candidates must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and be willing to undergo polygraph screening. Experience with hooking and instrumentation, ARM architecture assembly, mobile vulnerability research, and kernel hardening techniques are highly desired.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy custom cyber network operations capabilities tailored for the Android platform.Develop, test, and debug code using C, C++, Python, and Android NDK tools to create reliable exploitation frameworks.Conduct exploit development, vulnerability research, and Proof of Concept (PoC) creation to identify and mitigate security gaps.Perform debugging at both kernel and user-space levels utilizing tools such as gdb, LLDB, JNI, V8, and Mojo.Reverse engineer native binaries and Android system components to understand underlying security mechanisms and identify vulnerabilities.Work closely with kernel subsystems, OS internals, and mobile security mechanisms to develop effective exploitation strategies.Research and analyze application behaviors, tracing execution flows to isolate and resolve operational issues.Produce comprehensive documentation to support operational use, maintenance, and future capability development.Mentor junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth within the team.Collaborate with mission operators to ensure developed capabilities meet operational requirements and security standards.BenefitsAt REDLattice, we offer competitive compensation packages and comprehensive benefits designed to support our employees' well-being and professional growth.
