Job Description Shipping and Receiving ClerkAutomation Personnel Services is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a company based in Farmers Branch, TX. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a key part in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring accurate shipments and supporting efficient logistics operations.Pay Rate$19.00 – $22.00 per hourSchedule and HoursMonday through Friday, 1st shift. Overtime may be required.Shipping and Receiving Clerk Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slipsInspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issuesProcess received goods into ERP or warehouse systemsPrepare outgoing shipments including packing lists, bills of lading, and labelsCoordinate with carriers and internal teams for pickups and deliveriesStage materials and finished goods for shipmentEnsure shipments meet customer and packaging requirementsMaintain accurate shipping and receiving documentationAssist with inventory control including cycle countsOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment as neededMaintain a clean and organized work areaCommunicate shipment status and material needs with internal teamsShipping and Receiving Clerk Qualifications and RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED2–3 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferredExperience preparing bills of lading and packing listsBasic computer and ERP system experienceForklift experience or ability to obtain certificationStrong organizational and communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyJob TypeFull-time, temporaryBenefitsWeekly PayMedical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance40 Hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours6 paid Holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours401(k) Retirement PlanAutomation Personnel Services is the only staffing agency specializing in manufacturing and industrial roles that offers 401(k) matching to all eligible contingent and temporary associates.Click Apply Now to submit your application or call us at 469.240.7433 to learn more.
