Position DescriptionRanch Hand – Notch Peak Cattle Company, LLCScope: Ranch hands are responsible for tending livestock and providing care of the animals and facilities at Notch Peak Cattle CompanyReporting Relationships: The Ranch hand reports to the Ranch ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesAssisting with calving, feeding, and doctoring cattleRiding, moving, and sorting cattleFencing responsibilities Takes direction from ranch managerOther duties as assignedRequired Personal Characteristics, Experience And EducationCattle experienceSolid horse-riding experienceExperience operating machinery including backhoes, tractors, etc. Mechanical skills and knowledge of how to service ranch and farm equipment, etc4 years of recent experienceExperience driving trucks/trailersValid drivers license and clean driving record requiredOther InformationHousing and utilities are provided401k and benefits eligible after 30 days of serviceBackground check and drug testing required
