Oregon Health & Science University, a leader in academic medicine and research, in the heart of Portland, Oregon, seeks an Endocrinologist to join our growing team.Position Highlights: The faculty member will participate in:Clinical Care: Deliver exceptional patient care in all areas of endocrinology, diabetes and clinical nutrition, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and multidisciplinary support.Research Opportunities: Engage in cutting-edge research supported by robust infrastructure, including leveraging the Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI) funded as a Clinical and Translational Science Award recipient since 2006 as well as multiple platforms and cores for biomedical researchAcademic Environment: Contribute to our mission through teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to ongoing advancements in endocrine disorders research and careThe Endocrinologist/faculty member will provide exceptional patient care to the adult patient population. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans and contribute to ongoing advancements in endocrinology and diabetes. This role actively mentors residents and fellows, fostering a collaborative learning environment. The Division supports a variety of activities with specialty clinics including the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center. Required QualificationsMD/DO requiredUnrestricted Oregon medical license and/or ability to obtainBoard eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine and EndocrinologyDemonstrated commitment to educational excellence in a clinical settingNew program graduates consideredPreferred QualificationsAdvanced training in medical education is highly desirableIndividuals of diverse background and experiences are highly encouraged to applyCompensation Information:$183988.00 / Annually - $303926.00 / AnnuallyDetails:The full-time annual base salary range for this position is $183,988-$303,926; commensurate with experience and rank. Base pay does not include incentive pay, hiring bonuses, or additional benefits such as retirement contributions.
