We offer customers insight, advice and solutions that help their businesses grow and companies succeed.POSITION SUMMARYThe Drafter is responsible for producing accurate, detailed, and client-ready documentation to support commercial furniture projects from concept through installation. This role translates design intent into technical drawings, specifications, and production-ready deliverables while ensuring alignment with client standards, project requirements, and internal processes. Working closely with Designers, Account Managers, and cross-functional teams, the Drafter plays a critical role in maintaining project accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across multiple projects. Depending on experience level, this role may also take on increased ownership of complex projects, contribute to process improvements, and support team development.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDesign Documentation & ProductionProduce accurate drawings, specifications, and presentation materials that communicate design intentTranslate concepts into production-ready documentation and implement revisions/redlinesSupport project quoting in alignment with scope, pricing, and client requirementsProject ExecutionManage drafting tasks across multiple projects, ensuring timely and accurate deliverablesMaintain alignment between design intent, client expectations, and production requirementsIdentify and resolve documentation gaps or inconsistenciesQuality Control & Standards* Apply client-specific standards and review deliverables for accuracy and completeness* Maintain organized project files, templates, and documentation systemsCollaboration & SupportCoordinate with Designers, Account Managers, vendors, and internal teamsProactively communicate updates and participate in project meetings as neededProvide occasional field support, including site verification and measurements as neededTechnical ApplicationUtilize drafting software like AutoCAD, CET, and related tools to develop documentationSupport product research, specifications, and vendor coordinationBuild knowledge of commercial interiors, furniture systems, and industry standardsQUALIFICATIONSAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in drafting, design, architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)Proficiency in drafting softwares such as Autodesk, Bluebeam, and CET DesignerAbility to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and redlinesHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skillsStrong communication skills and collaborative mindsetCircadia is a drug-free workplace.
