Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Cath Lab Job Details: • Work 8-hour day shifts with rotating call coverage during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays • Call schedule includes 7 days per month with one weekend per month • Monitor patients during catheterization procedures using advanced equipment including Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices • Operate and work with two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms • Utilize McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System • Assist with cardiac and peripheral procedures including Left Heart Cath, Right and Left Heart Cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, and atherectomy • Support carotid diagnostic and stenting procedures • Assist with peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures including pacemaker insertion, tilt table tests, kyphoplasty, and AV graft procedures • Help with pre and post procedure patient care • Transport patients as needed • Assist with additional duties as assigned • Must be proficient in catheterization lab monitoring and procedures Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive catheterization lab that utilizes cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and general surgeons to provide complete cardiac and peripheral services.
