Senior Wireless Network Engineer📍 Location: Lathrop, CA (Local Candidates Only)💼 Job Type: Contract🏢 Work Model: 100% OnsiteAbout the OpportunityOur client, a leading Electric Vehicle & Automotive Technology company, is seeking a Senior Wireless Network Engineer to support the design, deployment, optimization, and operational support of large-scale enterprise wireless networks. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on high-performance campus wireless infrastructure and enterprise Wi-Fi technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and support enterprise wireless infrastructure.Troubleshoot complex wireless performance and connectivity issues.Perform RF planning, site surveys, and wireless optimization.Support Tier 2/3 wireless operations and escalations.Implement wireless security standards and best practices.Collaborate with network architects on enterprise initiatives.Create technical documentation and operational runbooks.Required Skills5+ years of enterprise wireless networking experience.Strong expertise with Aruba Wireless (Controllers, AOS8, ClearPass, AirWave).Experience with IEEE 802.11, WLAN, RF Engineering, and Wi-Fi Security.Hands-on experience using Ekahau, Spectrum Analyzer, and Protocol Analyzer.Knowledge of 802.1X, RADIUS, EAP-TLS, WIDS, Rogue Detection, and TCP/IP.Experience with Meraki and/or Mist Wireless is a plus.Familiarity with Splunk and scripting/automation is preferred.Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting large enterprise or campus wireless environments.Background in voice/video over wireless networks.Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.📩 Interested?
