Job Description Senior Civil Engineer – Land DevelopmentJob Duties:Lead civil engineering design efforts using Civil 3D for land development and residential projectsManage projects from initial concept through construction completionOversee site layout, grading, drainage, utility design, and permitting processesReview conceptual plans and provide innovative engineering solutions for complex projectsPrepare and assist with proposals, project scopes, and business development effortsCoordinate with clients, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teamsMentor and provide guidance to Jr. Engineers and DesignersEnsure project schedules, budgets, and quality standards are maintainedProvide technical leadership and engineering support throughout all project phasesRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringPE license required7+ years of civil engineering experience requiredStrong background in land development and residential site design projectsAdvanced proficiency with Civil 3DProven ability to manage multiple projects and lead design teamsStrong knowledge of permitting and municipal approval processesExcellent technical, organizational, and leadership skillsEstablished client and municipality relationships preferredStrong communication skills with the ability to lead client interactions and project coordination
