This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills, knowledge of high-voltage systems, and the ability to work safely around complex machinery and control systems.Day to DayInstall, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes, including lighting, climate control, security, and communicationsWork with blueprints when installing electrical systems in manufacturing facilities, wastewater treatment plants and other structuresAble to indicate on blueprints the location of circuits, outlets, load centers, panel boards, and other equipmentInstall new electrical equipmentMaintain and repair electrical systems as quickly as possible in order to minimize inconvenienceAble to replace items such as circuit breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components, or wireMay work with engineers or engineering techniciansPerform the installation of various electrical systems per NEC state/local regulations and complete construction documents while maintaining the highest levels of OSHA complianceReview specifications, blueprints, and job scope for technical accuracyPerform electrical testing and monitoring of systems and makes recommendation for improvement/repairWe Require That You Possess:Technical ability: technical and mechanical skills necessary to read and understand blueprints and technical diagrams, then install or service various electrical systemsPhysical fitness and dexterity many jobs require certain levels of fitness due to the nature of the environment in which the work is performed.
