ERISA & Data Privacy Litigation Associate (3-5 yrs) - Remote Plaintiff Class-Action Boutique

About the Position:Our client, a boutique Chicago law firm specializing in class action litigation, is actively seeking a litigator to join the firm as an associate in a remote capacity. This practice handles a broad range of sophisticated plaintiff-side matters, including ERISA, data privacy and GIPA class actions, and other complex consumer-focused disputes.Highlights:· Thriving firm started by former BigLaw partners· Fully remote opportunity with flexibility and autonomy· Significant mentorship and hands-on training from an accomplished litigator· Strong long-term financial upside and opportunities for origination participationResponsibilities:· Work on sophisticated class action matters involving ERISA (underperformance/breach of fiduciary duty/underperforming funds), data privacy, GIPA, and consumer litigation· Draft complaints, substantive briefs, discovery motions, and other pleadings· Assist with all phases of litigation, including discovery strategy, depositions, court appearances, and motion practice· Participate in case development strategy, plaintiff identification, and new matter generationRequired Qualifications:· 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably from a law firm environment· Experience with class action, complex commercial, data privacy, or ERISA litigation preferred· Strong writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills· Interest in taking on substantial responsibility in a collaborative and entrepreneurial practice environmentLocation:RemoteCompensation:The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 (plus exceptionally strong annual bonus).About Us:McCormack Schreiber Legal Search is Chicago’s leading legal search firm.
