Accounting Manager

Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager with expertise in the Consumer Products industry to oversee financial operations and provide strategic insights. This role focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing inventory and cost accounting, and supporting business growth in a dynamic, consumer-focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and industry regulations.Perform inventory valuation, calculate cost of goods sold (COGS), and analyze sales data for trends and optimization.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and month-end/year-end close processes.Ensure adherence to consumer product regulations (e.g., FDA standards).Collaborate with teams on pricing, product launches, and inventory management.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).5+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in Consumer Products.Strong skills in cost accounting, inventory management, and sales analysis.Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.Excellent communication and analytical abilities.Ascendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, we welcome and celebrate diversity.
