This is a full-time seasonal position for the summer months, approximately April–September.RequirementsPosition will be to assist with ground maintenance duties such as picking up litter, watering plants, raking leaves, pulling weeds, and supporting general upkeep of outdoor areas.Skills And QualificationsPositive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamMust wear proper clothing and closed-toe shoesMay require work permit depending on statePrimary Job DutiesPlanting, watering, plant care, pruning, mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, weeding, snow removalAssist with lawn care (raking, watering, weeding)Pick up litter and dispose of trash properlySweep sidewalks and outdoor spacesPlant flowers or shrubs under supervisionAssist in cleaning tools and work areasFollow all safety procedures and supervisor instructionsPower-driven lawn mowers or trimmersThe ability to operate power-driven lawn equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and weed whackersWork ContextPhysical Demands/EnvironmentRegularly required to sit or walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk, hear; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; use peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; work in wet or humid conditions and in outdoor weather.Frequently required to stand, climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk, smell; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; use distance vision.
