Senior Payroll AdministratorWe are partnering with a growing organization in North Nashville seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll professional with strong expertise in multi-state payroll processing, payroll tax compliance, and process improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations while helping enhance efficiencies across processes.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess end-to-end payroll for multi-state employee populations on a weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly basisEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including filings, reconciliations, and year-end reporting (W-2s, etc.)Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, tax issues, and employee inquiries with a high level of professionalismMaintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity within the payroll systemPartner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless payroll operationsLead and support process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and reduce manual processesAssist with payroll audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policiesStay informed on evolving payroll laws and regulations across multiple statesQualifications3+ years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processingStrong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirementsExperience handling complex payroll scenarios (e.g., multi-entity, high-volume, or multi-state environments)Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements within payroll operationsExperience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, UKG, or similar)High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and organizational skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionallyJob Location: in-officeBenefit offerings include PTO, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and 401K plan.
