Position OverviewWe're looking for a Help Desk Technician (Tier 1) who is dependable, curious, and motivated to grow their IT career. If you're someone who values mentorship, accountability, and steady growth, you'll fit right in.Key ResponsibilitiesUser Support & TroubleshootingProvide day-to-day technical support via phone, email, or in personDiagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and connectivity issuesAssist with password resets, account access, and general IT inquiriesHardware & Software SetupSet up and configure laptops, desktops, printers, and other equipmentSupport workstation setup for new hires and internal movesPerform basic maintenance and updates on devicesOnboarding SupportAssist with preparing IT equipment and accounts for new employeesEnsure a smooth and welcoming technical onboarding experienceDocumentation & TicketingAccurately log support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system (Zoho or similar)Follow established processes while also identifying ways to improve themWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required (Associate's degree in IT or related field is a plus)1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical customer serviceBasic understanding of:Windows operating systemsMicrosoft 365Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)Nice to HaveCompTIA A+ certification (or currently working toward it)Familiarity with Active Directory (password resets, unlocking accounts)Who You Are (Soft Skills That Matter Most)Humble & Coachable - You're open to feedback and eager to learn from othersHardworking & Reliable - You take ownership of your work and follow throughClear Communicator - You can explain technical issues in simple termsProblem-Solver - You enjoy figuring things out and don't give up easilyPatient & Empathetic - You understand that technology can be frustrating for othersResourceful - You're comfortable researching and learning on your ownGrowth & DevelopmentThis role is built for growth.
