Software Engineer - Active TS/SCI w/Full-Scope Poly required [32337]

Responsibilities:0.01 - Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements0.02 - Debug existing software and correct defects0.03 - Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards0.04 - Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features0.05 - Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments0.06 - Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositoriesExperience/Qualifications:• Experience collaborating with a team of Software and Systems engineers in an Agile environment to analyze requirements, derive user stories, track issues, and create user documentation• Experience devloping Java applications for network connected databases• Experience test and debuging software code for network connected databases• Experience with Jira ticketing system for software development status/taskingDesired:• Experience with containers (i.e., Docker and/or Kubernetes)• Experience with Java development IDEs (e.g. IntelliJ, Eclipse)• Experience with Git and/or Gitlab, and Gitlab CI/CD• Experience with Gradle• Knowledge of ActiveMQSkills:• Linux / Unix command-line• Agile developer• Java• JMS• Mongo, MySQL, or similar• Jira• Confluence, SharePoint, or similar
