Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Summary:We are hiring an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our machining and fabrication teams by receiving and staging raw materials, as well as packaging and shipping finished products.We are one of the largest job shops in the Pacific Northwest and are looking for someone motivated, dependable, and eager to grow with the company. This role is critical to maintaining smooth production flow and on-time deliveries.Key Responsibilities:Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to support production, shipping, receiving, and staging activitiesReceive, stage, and distribute raw materials according to work orders and verbal instructionsPackage and prepare products for shipmentPerform inventory transactions and updates within the ERP systemMaintain safe operation and proper working condition of machinery and equipmentSupport efficient material flow throughout the production floorQualifications:4 – 6 years shipping and receiving experience.Be able to obtain certification on forklifts and other material-handling equipmentHave a working knowledge of material-handling best practicesBe safety-focused with experience in a warehouse or production environmentUnderstand work orders related to production, shipping, and receivingCommunicate clearly and work well within a team environmentBe flexible with scheduling as neededPossess strong computer skills and customer service skillsBe comfortable handling heavy and awkward forklift loadsWhy Join Us?This role has a direct impact on production efficiency and shipping timelines.
