As a Linux Engineer on the infrastructure team, you will design, implement, and maintain the high-performance Linux environments that power trading systems and research platform.You'll be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the Linux infrastructure while working closely with trading technologists, researchers, and developers to meet the exacting demands of low-latency trading and data-intensive research workloads.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain high-performance Linux environments optimized for low latency trading applicationsBuild and manage the kernel configurations, network stack tuning, and system optimizations required for nanosecond-level performanceRequirements5+ years of hands-on experience administering Linux systems in high-performance environmentsDeep understanding of Linux kernel internals, system tuning, and performance optimizationExperience with modern Linux distributions (CentOS/RHEL, Ubuntu) and their packaging systemsProficiency in Python for automation and tooling developmentKnowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and tuning for low-latency applicationsExperience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)Understanding of modern containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of FPGA, kernel bypass technologies, or specialized networking hardwareExperience with high-performance computing environments or distributed systemsExperience with real-time or specialized Linux kernel variants
