We're actively searching for a skilled physician to join our team and provide vital pediatric nephrology care on a combined scheduled clinical hours and call basis (ASAP - Ongoing). This locum tenens position offers a unique opportunity to provide both inpatient and outpatient services, with a flexible schedule of one week per month (typically Monday, 8:00 am to Monday, 8:00 am). We welcome applications from both Washington state-licensed physicians and those eligible for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) privileges. Our facility is stroke-certified, ensuring access to advanced stroke care when needed. Advanced Technology & Resources: Utilize the user-friendly Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system to enhance efficiency in documentation and communication. Streamlined Credentialing Process (for qualified candidates): We understand the importance of timely care and will work diligently to facilitate temporary privileges for qualified applicants with a clean history (estimated timeframe of 90 days). Qualifications: Board-certified in Pediatric Nephrology is required. Active medical license in Washington (WA) or eligibility for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) privileges is mandatory. Current certification in BLS and PALS is essential. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a pediatric nephrology setting is preferred. The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
