Preschool Teacher

Job Description Wonder Steps Preschool is seeking a full-time, qualified, experienced, energetic and organized Preschool Teacher for children aged 3-5 yrs. Qualifications needed to teach include knowledge of best practices in Preschool educational methods, the ability to engage them, and earn their trust and attention, to contribute to the healthy social, physical, cognitive, and emotional development of the child.Qualification:Minimum 12 core semester Units in early childhood educationMinimum 6 months of preschool teacher experience working in a licensed child care centerHave a criminal and fingerprint background clearancePass a pre-employment physical and T.B testCPR certification (preferred)Responsibilities:Prepare and apply curriculum that is age appropriateDevelop and Apply a verity of educational techniques (circle time, storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach childrenPrepare activities for children based on Monthly themeUnderstand and follow regulations of local child care licensing and the centerInteract well with a team of teachersCommunicate with parents on child's growth and progressMaintain confidentiality in regards to all children and staff personal informationSupervised children during indoor and outdoor activities at all timeMaintain the health and safety of all the childrenSnack prepChanging Diapers if needed
